Cube is easy- order still doesn't make sense. Game is simple. To put the unfolded cube together, make sure you have all the cards, and click on the unfolded cube. Then drag a card onto a number. 0-blue 1-green 2-orange 3-red 4-purple 5-grey. Get it? |

and sam, you need to get the last block peice thats probably in the tv room. The ones in there are on the radiator, the fireplace corner, and by the phone. If you have those, than its on the radiator in the hallway. Once you have all of those, it will make a cube, and you put that cube into the weird thing on the wall next to the coat. Thatll get you into the next room. |

Nvm, i finished. Sort of a lame ending, but i feel full inside now that im done...... and for all those poor sods that cant get out of the first two rooms, you have to drag the cube thing onto that funny looking thing by the door in the first room. The scene also has the coat in it. |

in the hall where u start off there is 2 heaters the 1 on the left there is a peice of the block, then if you turn torword the pic there is a peice of the letter in the floor, then go to the safe and click the following #s 72273 there should be a hole block inside, then go to the dresser with the raido and go to the the bottom droor there is a card,then from the side with the radio turn left and go into the 2nd door. |

in the corner there is a jacket click on the sleeve till it moves back there should be a slice of the letter in it, then go over to the couch and click on the 1st pillow to the right there should be a card, there is also anouther pice of the block in the fire place and the heater and to the left of the phone, those should complete the block. then on the left of your sceen there is a key of thing you have drag the first block to the door with the shelf thing to the left of the door it should unlock that door, go through it. |

you should be in a office, and if you click on the lower back right leg of the chair there should be anouther peice of the letter, then go to the cabnet and click on the last droor there is information of the person in there, then if you look torword the heater and door there is the end of the book case click on the end book 3 rows up there is a card, then turn torward the clock and take the hour hand and place it on the 6 for it to be 6:00 there should be anouther hole block inside, and if you look over torword the lamp and click on the bace there is anouther card, then in your key take the second block and put it in the shelf thing to the left of the door,when you go through you should end up in a bed room, |

under the pillow there is a card,next to it is a open door to the nightstand click in it there should be a piece of the letter. then go to the big dresser and click underneath it there should be a self thing take the 3rd block out of your key and use it there and go through the dresser. you should have ended up in a kitchen of know as (the upside down room). |

you shold be looking at some stairs.click at them and go to the top there is a bright room where the sun is shinging in click on the door that you see and there should be the last piece of the letter. get that and then go to your key and click on the last piece and the hole letter should pop up read it then go through the door to see the ending |

Basically, you have to click all over objects to see if it lets you get closer, and of course you have to look for out-of-place items. Test everything with a click. THE LOGIC BEHIND THE ORDER OF CARDS ON THE CROSS is--they are in the same sequence as the rooms you visit, if you play the game without a walkthrough. Watch the sequence of signs, not colors. |

ok peoples,heres the thing,the code for the safe is 72273. the layout in the kitchen is 0-blue, 1-green, 2-orange, 3-red, 4-purple, 5-gray. in the office, move the long hand on the clock to 6:00 and a cube will appear near the bottom of the clock. click on it.
now, why is everyone calling it a upside down room? the only thing that is upside down is a few chairs. i mean seriously, its a KITCHEN. heres my advice. the game really isnt hard. you just have to think. if you want to find pieces of the letter, or other items, look for places that are colored brighter or stand out more. it really isnt hard to get to the end. i wont tell you the ending, but im sure youve already read it from the other peoples comments. well im gunna go now. i finished 3/4/06. bye! |

Tip 1 (the safe): Look at your phonepad to see how the letters line up with the numbers to enter for the code.
Tip 2 (open cube): The cards correspond to the rooms *in the order you visited* (look at the symbols on the doors).
Tip 3 (upside-down room): In response to polka_dot's comment, one room IS upside-down: the bedroom. If you solve it on your own (without a walkthrough) then this room will be upside-down when you first get there. It only flips over once you open the safe.
Try to solve the puzzle on your own! It's more fun that way for sure. ;) |
