When something hpeapns that causes me to be logged off of all the sites I automatically log onto or stay logged onto, I get very confused. I have to remember logon names and passwords I never use! If I was also without my bookmarks, and had to remember or look up URLs I don't usually need to remember, I'd be worse off by far. I infer something like that happened to you. Congratulations on managing to get back here.I'm sorry if your hard drive is fried. I hope you had your documents backed up; if not I hope there's some way to get them off the hard drive. This reminds me; I should back up more often. It's like insurance; a needless bother until you need it, at which point it becomes priceless.I hope you find a new puter that you like. |
