It's real, I played Table Tennis Tournaments. Rule is: You cannot touch the table while the point is in play with anything except your paddle, so the point was dead after that, BUT, the opposite end player did that to keep the point going because it was so asmazing. |

I am an certified ump and this move is perfectly legal. The ITTF rule states that the "free hand", ie. hand not holding the paddle cannot touch the table but any other part of the body can touch the table as long as you don't move the table. So, leaning on the table or jumping on the table as long as you don't move it is legal! btw, this is an exhibition match held in Hongkong by alternate members of the the Chinese National team who didnt make it to the World Championship. |
