sometimes, if you jump into the air and are planning to do the "deadly knee" attack, you can stop in mid-jump. Jump into the air and press down over and over really quickly. If done correctly you will not move at all (although you will have a short animation each time down is pressed, and it looks as if you are slowly moving downward.) This helps if you are about to do the knee attack, but the enemy below you does a backflip kick (when they roll backwards to kick away someone above). You can continue to pause in mid-air until his attack is done. |

When you do the bullet-dodging move you are vulnerable to some attacks, still. If you are nearly as low as the bend goes, especially if you are going to do the special kick, an enemy performing the deadly knee can hurt you. |

If you are doing the kung-fu kick (flying kick) and another enemy does it, you both take damage when you collide, and then you both bounce back. If you know an enemy is about to do the kung-fu kick, you can stop him by timing the scissors kick (or as the author calls it, the "kick", how original :) and it will overpower the enemy. |

If you do the wall climb and jump off, you will not be able to attack or move until you land. Instead, you can try jumping, and jumping again as soon as you hit the wall to do a bounce off the wall that will allow you to do the deadly knee attack. Also, if you are only trying to get behind your enemies, this works faster than slowly walking the side of the wall and then jumping off. |
