The real reason for Portugual fans behavior is that they hate President Bush and Nickelback performed at the RNC in New York in support of Bush. They dont necessarily hate Nickelback as there were like........a few thousand people there to see them. They have a couple catchy songs, but whatever idiots said Ozzy Zepplin, and Nirvana, and so on suk shouldnt even call themselves rockers. |

DanVersion1, you bring up an interesting point; it is likely that Nickelback's de facto support of Bush may have had something to do with what happened. But ultimately it doesn't matter. This whole discussion about Nickelback's music by you guys completely and utterly misses the point. It's not an issue. An example of a RELEVANT question would be if band is within its rights to walk off stage when it's being assaulted by audience members (and it is). Chances are it was just one loser guy doing this and I feel really bad for all those kids who paid money to see a good concert, but the band did the right thing. I would have responded the same way. |

I've been a musician most of my life and i'd never waste money on a nickelback concert or album. I don't blame the band for leaving but the video just goes to show how much Nickelback sucks.
