yeah a 2000 and up camaro with good twin setup is puttin easly the 600 to 700 range and to be runnin 11.9 is terrible ... that car didn't have a twin.. and to the idiot that said audis are real cars... u can die now |

Why would you turbo a V8? Yeah... Turbo lag in a heavy car. He'd be much better off supercharging it, at least then he would have power at launch and when shifting. Turbo charging for drag is dumb. all that time he spends shifting to keep the RPM's up could have been better spent on accelerating. |

Turbo lag on a V8? Yeah it might exist by definition, but when you got 5.7L or more your not exactly short on torque off boost. Their's no substitue for cubes and boost. |

its not always best to run your car in cold weather... plus i think a twin turbro V8 would do much better than 11.9..camaros are heavy but not heavy enough for a time like that...that was a 2001 and they run 13's as is

tuning is tuning, its all good. Going fast costs $$ in any car.
Also for the buy who said throw a supercharger instead of a turbo, turbo chargers are more effiecient, so much more effiecient that they are banned in the top fuel car in the NHRA. |

no offense to the american muscle guys but 11.9 for a camaro ss is not the fastest. my friend runs 11.9 on only basic boltons like intake, exhaust, gears and a few other things. all motor. |

iown a 35 anniversery 2002 camaro that runs 12s right off the showroom floor, i want to turbo or supercharge, cant find a turbo i like for under 6 grand that will give me 600hp or better,supercharge at 5 grand. suggestions? |

11.9 for a twin turbo camaro is not great at all i have an 89 camaro NA that runs 12.8 with 2.77 gears come on you need to do more work and by the way mustangs are for pussies |

whoa whoa whoa! now, i've driven camaros before, including the IROC concept car, and they're pretty good.
but i own 2 mustangs(2000 Mustang SVT Cobra R, 2005 Mustang GT), and they both have superchargers and over 600HP,my mustangs could smoke any camaro( Except the Camaro LM Race Car now that has great handling :]. |

almost a 12 sec. run for that car sucks ass. I've seen a similar size car with a single turbo v6 run mid 9's. And don't blame the cold weather, everyone knows colder weather is better for turbos. |

11.9 for a TT setup? HA! Whatever. I had a Whisper Lid, EGR Mod, K&N with a Magnaflow muffler (Was going to get SLP LM) and a 125 shot Cold Fusion Nitrous kit. With just these mods I could hit high 12s. Not to mention with about a 550 (?) lift cam, 4.10 gears, Hooker LT heads and the SLP i'd be hitting about the 550 HP range with a easy mid 11. Theres a guy around here with a Full built 427 all your boltons and a 300 shot running cake 10s. -.- BTW: Ford blows. |
