It's the guy's job to clear that bike so other racers don't crash. I'm not sure if motorcycle races use caution flags, but if so, that was definitely the second racer's fault. |

The race was at Loudon, NH (New Hampshire International Speedway).
No one died, there were some serious injuries. The cornerworker hit by the bike is fine today, he suffered a fractured pelvis and a concussion and a couple lacerations.
No one got chopped in half, that's bodywork on the track.
There was a waving yellow flag out from the first part of the crash, the riders just didn't respond correctly.
This was a freak accident, motorcycle racing is dangerous and so is cornerworking.
I know these things because I was there and helped clean up that mess. |
