the cable is a brake
and no 4X4 could do that, you don't understand what 4X4 is if you think it can, you need all-wheel drive or quatro (or Subaru's version) to do this
and 45* is really damn steep, my beetle can't even drive up 25+ degrees never mind 45 |

The rope isnt there for braking, they used that rope for pulling it up

The Audi presented in this video is a stock A6 Quattro. First standard winter tyres, then spiked tyres. Cables were used for guidance and safety purposes. The cable goes up with the car because it's attached to it. The cable is NOT pulling the car. It stops it from sliding back the ramp in case anything went wrong. |
