gilles was born in berthierville but he grew up in st cuthbert where i grew up.. we have a musem for him in berthier.. my mother knew him. family friends |

Gilles was a great person and a great driver. The camera missed the contact between white car of the bcakmarker Jocnem Mass who went on the path of fast approaching Gilles. The car of Gilles nosedived twice while in the spinning, and the car broke in two. Gilles broke his neck probably at the first impact. His helmet, shues sock and gloves went off during the accident. |

Roland Ratzenburger or something or other died one week before Senna. So there was one other death between Villeneuve and Senna. |
